Last Spring Sale

It was a SIZZLING hot but super Sunday for our last spring sale.   Lots of sun, excellent music from Eileen Tipping, and as usual, our sellers pulled out all the stops.   Just take a peek at the pics below and you'll see the that the shopping was just as fabulous as ever.   Thanks to everyone who braved the melting temperatures on Fathers' Day to come out and join us.

Many items were handmade and upcycled like those at Chairloom, D4 Designs, Reclaimed Crafts, Olde Good Things, and Pomegranate Homemade.  We had original art from Sherry McVickar and new seller Becky Lee.  There was an abundance of beautiful vintage jewelry and clothing from Malena's Unique Boutique and Salvation Nation.  And of course antiques and vintage decorative items from Larney's, More Than Old, Nannygoat, Kitsch-N-Kaboodle, Cottage, David Salkin Antiques, and Scout and Annie.

As we close the door on our inaugural season, I want to again thank my amazing Market volunteer Melissa Levy, the Ardmore Initiative, Christine Vilardo, Sherry Tillman, Cheryl Gelber, Carla Zambelli, the local civic associations, Harry Althouse, and all of the sellers who helped make my vision come to life.  And for the icing on the cake, I'm thrilled to let you know that the Clover Market has won a Best of the Main Line award for Best Outdoor Shopping Venue.   Sellers....this one's for you!

Last Spring Clover THIS Sunday 6/20

All together now...."School's out for the SUMMER!!!"   Well, that may be true for the kids, but we've still got one more Clover Market before we all officially call it a wrap for the season.

We have a bunch of new sellers this Sunday including Malena's Unique Boutique (vintage jewelry and clothing), Pomegranate Handmade Books and Boxes (beautiful handmade pieces with paper sourced from around the world), Pigeons in the Attic (fine art painting and photography), and D4 Architectural Salvage (unique furniture from salvaged wood).

Of course, MANY of our dedicated sellers are returning for the final sale including Chairloom, Kitsch-N-Kaboodle, Larney's, More Than Old, Nannygoat Antiques, Olde Good Things, Salvation Nation, Scout and Annie....and more!

Don't miss the Friends of Linwood Park/Clover Market tent on the Lancaster Ave. side of the lot for free lemonade AND to enter your name for a chance to win a great "Dad-themed" basket with items and gift certificates from local Ardmore businesses including the Live Well Holistic Health Spa, Milkboy Coffee, Past Present Future, Aqua Hut, and Rittenhouse Electric

And finally...mark your calendars NOW for our fall 2010 Sunday dates:
September 12 and 26

Hope to see you this weekend and happy hunting!

June 6th Snapshots

Here are my snapshots from the day.  Yes, we had serious tornado warnings and it was the last day of a brutal heat wave, but we are a hearty bunch at Clover!!   Our parking lot was FULL of sellers and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed.  Truly a perfect way to spend a late spring afternoon.

Our last sale will be on June 20th then we'll take a break for the hot summer months.  We'll be back in September with all of our fall dates to be posted SOON.  Please show your support for our sellers and come out again for our last sale (and BUY BUY BUY - there are great deals to be had on some truly one-of-a-kind items for your home!).  Let's end this inaugural season with a BANG!
