Seller Profile: The Collected Collage

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm Michele Longo, originally from upstate NY but I've been living in Philly for the last four years. I studied fashion merchandising in college, but found my niche with vintage clothing and jewelry when I worked for a styling house in Manhattan. Since then I've been active in the antiques business, and love the hunt through a box of old jewelry. The Collected Collage is a vision of my passion for collecting antique jewelry and creating collage art.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
A vibrant display of vintage and antique jewelry.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I'm inspired by colorful patterns, art nouveau designs, interesting fabric and paper, found objects, and the serenity of nature. 

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
I love to shop for vintage at antique malls, thrift stores, and flea markets, and I find some great handmade items on Etsy.

What possession do you most cherish?
I have a lot of my grandmother's belongings: housewares, decor, hand-made items, clothing, jewelry, accessories. I definitely take great care of all these sentimental things, and love how I feel like she's a part of me.
