Your Market Questions Answered

It's looking to be a spectacular day for the Market on Sunday. Our 100 vendors are feverishly putting together all of their beautiful things, and we're excited to kick off our spring season. We expect large crowds - if you can take the train (Paoli/Thorndale line stops 2 blocks away) or walk that would be wise!

With that said, here are a few of our frequently asked questions to help make your visit as enjoyable as possible:

Where can I park?
There are nearby parking options - including street parking and surface lots - which are shown on the map above.  Parking is FREE in all locations on Sundays.  Some good options are the Cricket Ave. lot (behind the Philly Sports Club), the Athensville & Public Safety Building lots (at the Twp. Municipal Building), and street parking along Rittenhouse Place and in the streets south of the Market.

What's the best way to get there?
We hope you will walk or bike if you're local.  If not...

- By Car: If you're mapping directions, use the 12 E. Lancaster Ave. as the closest physical address. The parking lot is located next to Bella Italia Pizza and across the street from Brownie's 23 East.

- By Train: Take the Paoli/Thorndale (old R5) to the Ardmore train station stop. Walk towards Lancaster Ave., turn left (east) and we're right down the street
.

What are the hours?  Sales begin promptly at 10 am (vendors are NOT permitted to do any early bird sales) and will stop at 5 PM.

Where can I park to pick up a large/heavy item?  Your best bet is to pull your car up to our barricades at the corner of Cricket Terrace and Rittenhouse and load from there.  A reminder that most of Cricket Terrace will be closed for our vendors - it is open ONLY for residential traffic.

Is there food at the Market?
Yes, we have a NEW indoor food area in the building at the southeast corner of the main parking lot and Cricket Terr. (the former Backe Communications building)- enter right from Cricket.  Our food vendors this spring are Brulee Bakery, Carlinos, Cupcakes Gourmet, Firinji, JPM Catering, McShea's, Melt Down/New Hope Beverage, and Taste of Olive.  You can also explore the many nearby businesses in Ardmore with sit down food options as well.

Is there other shopping nearby?
Of course!  You can visit the Ardmore Initiative's website for a list of other stores and restaurants in our downtown area.  And don't forget the Suburban Square shopping center (J. Crew, Apple Store, Banana Republic, Williams-Sonoma, Ann Taylor, Lilly Pulitzer, Urban Outfitters, Trader Joe's, the Farmers' Market) which is also just short walk from Clover.   You can easily spend the day in Ardmore.

Where can I get some cash nearby?
As you'd expect, our sellers mostly prefer cash for your purchases, although MANY are now accepting credit card payments with the Square card reader.  If you need to replenish your cash, there are ATM's cash within one block of the Market going east or west on Lancaster Ave.

Are there bathrooms at Clover?
We don't have any public bathrooms, but please feel free to stop by any of the nearby restaurants on Lancaster Ave. such as Milkboy Coffee or Jack McShea's for a bite to eat, a coffee, and use of the bathrooms.

Is there anything for the kids to do there?
Yes!  We always feature a free kids' craft activity at each Market as well to keep the little ones happy.  Add in some yummy food and you're good to go with the little ones.

Are dogs allowed?
We love having the four legged friends visit us at Clover.  Please feel free to bring your well-behaved, leashed dogs to enjoy the Market.

What happens if the weather is bad?
The Clover Market will go on rain or shine.  We will ONLY cancel in conditions which are truly severe and/or life threatening to our sellers and patrons.  In that case we will post a message to the blog, Facebook page, and Twitter by 8 AM Sunday morning. Please always check there first before heading out if the weather looks "iffy".

Hope to see you there!
