Talk about lucky! We've had the tremendous good fortune of having Carrie Hill Photography come to Clover to capture some of the beauty and talent on display each week. Carrie is a ridiculously talented portrait photographer who does an incredible job at capturing the beauty of the essence of what this Market is all about. I'll try to keep my commentary to a minimum here on this post and let her lovely images speak for themselves. Please do note that these images may not be used without written permission from Clover Market or from Carrie herself - thank you!

Let's start with MY first love...antiques & vintage. Just look at this riot of color, texture, and patina. Chippy, worn, revived and beautifully reinvigorated. I really wish I had seen many of these before they sold. The early bird certainly gets the worm on the one-of-a-kinds!
And the art, oh....the art! It's what gives Clover so much texture, color, and originality. From collage, and letterpress to oils and photography, it was a delight for the eyes (and my favorite: wellies!).
Of course at every Clover, there were beautiful handcrafted products in every shape and form. Handmade and uniquely designed and conceived by some of the most creative folks around. We've been doing this for three years now, and I am always amazed at the variety and quality of what our vendors bring to the Market. They are simply the best around!
Of course, there was jewelry in every shape, color, era, and style. Some vintage and some newly handcrafted by skilled artisans. All statement-worthy. Any one of these pieces would truly MAKE an outfit, and I love how so many of our customers are coming back to "collect" from our same vendors over and over again.
The sweet four legged friends always love coming to Clover to hang out and catch up with friends - just like us - and we love having them there! Here are a few of our favorites, although I could literally do a post just on the dogs of Clover. Sweet, inquisitive, regal...they always add such a fun dose of personality to the Market, and all the wagging tails keep the humans so very happy, too.
And last but not least, the food! Sweet and savory to delight our senses and our bellies! As always, we feature many of Ardmore's best restaurants, and we were thrilled to welcome so many of them to our new indoor food area this season. We have all been eating VERY well indeed.
I hope you enjoyed a little stroll through the April Market. Our last spring date is June 3rd, and then we're on hiatus for the summer months. We'll be posting up some images shortly from our recent May Market so we've got a lot to look forward to, and I know the last one of the season will be as tremendous as our first two. Hope to see you there! ~ Janet
